Yeah always wear my helmet. My dad almost died last year on a motorcycle (wasn't wearing a lid) not sure how he survived but he is rocking a full face now too.

 

Definitely need to always wear a helmet. I daily my vtx1300 to work and back always feel
more comfortable with it and my armored vest.

got my grill plasti-derpd along with spray painting the center cap areas black finally...gotta say, looks awesome...now I just need to get new headlights that are black and Im wanting to get eyelids as well

and this was my first time messing with plasti-dip...so its not the best work...but I think I did well for do it the first time

 

Now you need to do your fender flares as well.

 

I was thinkin the same thing after I got done putting the grill back on lol, but I would need to go get more plasti-dip...and Im too lazy to drive back to Home Depot/Lowes to get more XD

also, are all the accessories powered by the block hot, even when the truck is off and key is out?

edit: actually came across both of these answers in other threads, negative is for cleaner wire install, and yes, all the acc are hot

 

Meh, it'll give you something to do next time. Although, I think I read in other threads that plasti-dip doesn't work too well in the flares. Most ppl use truck bed coating on them, IIRC. If I had put mine back on, I probably would have just used flat black paint though, but I'm pretty sure they'd just get ripped off and/or destroyed if I did put them back on. I'd need to get a set of those Bushwacker cut-out flares, but I kinda like it how it is.

 

Ill take that into consideration for the bed liner, but i have also had thoughts of just removing my fender flares as well...mostly because my tires still rub on the front part of the bumper where the flares are

 

I was going to buy one of those to clean up my wiring once my lights, winch and locker setup are done and I came across the spod. I'd recommend you check it out it's got a lot more features.
