    X2 on that. I want to do them on my truck.

    I would believe the plastic dip having a hard time staying on
    The flares if you do alot of offroading tothe point that the brush
    Starts scratching off the plastic dip. Just make sure you layer on
    4 to 5 coats so it holds up well. I have done that on multiple things
    On my truck and never had a problem with the dip coming off
    Even with rocks that fly up and hit the dip, it always still held strong

    I have a few mods
    well here was my sad attempt at using the bed liner to line my bumper and dechrome it...started with trying the flares...taped off a good portion around the flare to prevent the overspray...ya that didnt work, got liner all over the back right quarter panel and after that happened...I said f#*$ it and just ripped the other flares off to prevent any further screw up. Bumper didnt turn out too bad, not good...but not bad, lets just say im not too happy with what happened...:mad::mad::mad:

    ok well I went out and see what I could do to get this liner coating off, luckily...it does come off...but with a lot of elbow grease...so tomorrow after work, im going to TAKE OFF my bumper and properly coat it and do the same with the fender flares then go to Toyota and get the flares put back on. and I really dont think that this stuff is actual liner...more of a coating I guess? this is what Autozone had so I had picked it up

    ya, the left side of the bumper turned out good, but the right side, the spray can ended up not spraying a very even coat, it would spray and then just blow air and repeat...so the right side didnt get very even.

    but what would I need to do to get it to become even again?

    Sounds like your tip was getting clogged if you can sand out the runs just do a couple of light coats until it blends but make sure you wait between coats
