Why couldn't i? I only disliked the cutting of the mounts because of the weird angles. Cutting fenders and a few other things wouldn't be that difficult, at least i could use a dremel for better control of the cuts. My cutting wheel is way to big to use for that.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, the thick metal of the mounts plus all the akwardagles that had to be cut made it fun for a few minutes. But by the end i hated it.

The cut off wheel I used at work didn't have a guard on it. Those things just get in the way.

in the picture it was one complete axle and when i got there it was completely taken apart and the R&P was gone, but i could have cared less about the r&p cause they were the wrong gears anyway. and the hi steer he claimed it was was a hack job. Cut off the stock arm and welded it to the top of the knuckle. he dropped it down to $200 but i still didnt want to trust someone elses welds on cast especially because its a steering component.

That's understandable I wouldn't want someone else's hack job fabrication either

the welds looked pretty solid but i saw some porosity, but i also have no idea if the cast was pre heated before welding. i didnt weld it, so i dont trust it.
