Soooooo, i have good news and not so good news.

First, thanks to everyone's efforts i have been selected as a finalist!!! That's awesome!

Now, the not so awesome part. I can't bring Kyle in the truck. They say for safety it can be me plus one but both of us have to be over 18. But i am working with my wife to have her and him in the stands so he can still see it and experience it.

 

Going to be in Daytona for the weekend. Heading to the Rolex 24 hour race.

 

Sticker is on...and its crooked...my OCD is firing off like crazy.

 

it doesn't look very crooked in your photo. i have terrible ocd

This is the guy who went through 3 castle nuts and receiver end plates on an AR15 because I didn't like the way the castle nut staking LOOKED.


Is there a medication for this?

 

That's why you just don't stake it

 

haha...you are a loctite type of guy? I stake and Loctite....that OCD again...

 

Na, I am a "keep an eye on it" guy. Its just a range toy so if it loosens up I just tighten it up, not like my life is relying on it. And I like to tweak and change things often so being able to just take it off when needed without dealing with loctite or a stake is nice.

 

Don't you guys just hate finding stuff like this when you open up a light fixture on your car port?

ah. That makes sense.

 

My only issue with mounting the heavy 4" hids behind the grille. The vibration likes to break the support brace in front of the condensor.

 

Upon inspection, if i didn't have the lights, i wouldn't even need that brace since i no longer have a factory bumper. It is only there for the bumper.

 

speaking of stickers, I put my FL taco sticker on yesterday, whenever I get my TW.com sticker Im going to put that one on the bottom left window and take the got mud sticker off so everything can be even...plus, Im starting to not really like that sticker anymore




oh and I finally remembered where I got the idea to derp those lower pieces below the headlights, it was from theTupper, the signature creator dude, he also has a 2in strip on the front of his hood derpd black which I seriously love the way it looks (theTupper's picture below from his build thread)

If I sold the tire/cb antenna/hi lift mount rack on the back of my truck would anyone on here be interested?
