Fun fact for the day. I brought my red top optima into advanced because it wouldnt hold a charge and it was still under warranty so they swapped it out for free ajd then let me upgrade to the yellow top for the price difference. So for 40 bones I got a yellow top

wtf, I hate it when they give you a tease commercial like that.
but it looks like a redesigned tacoma front. looks pretty badass
from what is shown at least.

 

Alright. Just thought I'd put it out there and see if you were interested. I kinda hate selling my guns, but like I said in the other thread, I don't have any kids to hand them down to, nor are any of my younger family into guns/hunting. Next to my match rifle, the Citori is the most valuable piece in my collection, but when it comes down to it, I haven't used it enough to really miss it if I sold it.

I have a Ruger M77 .270 Win hunting rifle that I inherited from my uncle, which he wanted to keep in the family. But as I said, the only two family members into firearms are two other uncles which will probably pass on long before me, so I'm considering selling that one too since I'm a target shooter and not a hunter. It's kind of a hard decision though because I want to abide by my uncle's wishes, but at the same time, I don't have anyone to pass it on to so it'll probably just end up auctioned off when I die.

I thought maybe someday, I'd have it rebarreled with a heavy stainless barrel and rechambered to .280 Rem and use it as a long range target rifle, but M77s don't have crap available for synthetic target stocks that can accommodate heavy profiled barrels...and really I don't have the money to spend on it anyhow.

 

Yeah me to and I'm thinking I might wait to trade in my truck now

 

i was looking at the video a couple of times and it looks
like they tool the hood grill and tail lights from the new
tundras and put them on the tacoma.

Looks nice but i would like to see the whole picture if they
do actually do it.

 

Also looks like it has some kind of scoop across the front of the hood or at the top of the grill like the tundra

 

yea but it is also kind of confusing because they randomly
through a 2010 model in there.
Well see if it is true, and if they actually realease a new tacoma
like that.

 

Maybe same taco but new package cause they call it a TRD pro. Hope it's not cheesy like the xsp-x.

 

yea definitly, i thougt the xsp-x was sweet untill i saw the glued
on hood scoop.

 

Same here & that flimsy metal over the lower valance.

 

yuuup, but im not going to lie, the leather heated seats and rims are
nice but not for the outragous price tag i saw on it.

 

I seen it on Facebook they said it was a tundra , tacoma , and four runner the commercial is supposed to air during the Super Bowl

 

Didn't care much for the rims, i like mine wider & deeper with a lip. The seats would be nice though.

 

Actually, that was a Tunrda. If you look closely at about 0:16 the Tundra is in the center of the screen but the Taco is just peeking in on the left. In the last shot, there's a 4Runner (I think), a Tundra, and a Taco going down the road.

 

Any 1st Gen Supercharged in here?

 

That grill emblem! From what I say looks like the LC emblems everyone puts on there mesh grill
