I am selling all my ifs 4wd stuff except the tcase in a little while.

 

Generally, AAL means you're adding a leaf that forced the pack into a deeper arch to achieve lift. Just adding an extra leaf to the pack to increase the spring rate isn't technically an AAL.

I get what you're say though. Thanks. The question is, is the center pin on the expos further aft than it is on the Dakars?

On another note...

Who knew finding a freaking snap ring for my stub axles would be such a PITA? Aren't you supposed to replace them when you replace the axles? They should be as readily available as the axles, yeah?

ya I know, but with how much my truck would be worth selling it while it being an '06 PreRunner with 128K miles on it...I wouldnt yield much from it at all, so for me personally I think its worth that 3K to get her converted

keep me posted on that, how long before you do the SAS? its not gonna be for a couple months (about 3-4) before id hopefully have the money depending on how much you want for the parts

Study Finds Firearms May Be Inanimate Objects

A scientific study that concluded the day before Christmas Eve found that guns may actually be inanimate objects with no will of their own. The highly controversial results were published today in Scientific Log, a leading journal in the scientific community, and has already drawn disbelief and criticism from top gun control proponents.

The study placed a collection of 240 firearms in a large room outfitted with a bulletproof observation window which allowed the scientists to monitor the firearms 24/7 for over four months. The collection of firearms included assault rifles, semi automatic pistols, hunting rifles, and BB guns while the control group, housed in another similar room, consisted of comically proportioned wooden dummy guns. The room was filled with cardboard cutouts of people, animals, and inanimate objects like cars and movie theaters to see which victims certain guns were likely to target.
The study was intended to provide data for future firearm restrictions in the state of New York and was to be used to decide which firearms to make wildly illegal.
The results, however, took an odd turn says Bob Clementine, the lead researcher and grant manager of the project. “We found very similar results with the most evil looking gun as we did with the funny looking dummy guns. A gun, regardless of it’s type, appears, by all scientific and measurable standards, to be inanimate and doesn’t seem to be capable of evil or good.” He says the only action recorded in the room were the oxidation of metal and dust gathering, both of which pose no threat to human lives and is “incredibly boring to watch.”
The research group has come up with several likely possibilities as to why the guns didn’t react violently to the cardboard cutouts. Clementine says that guns may require an outside force to make them shoot but more likely, he says, it’s because the guns didn’t sense any fear. “Guns feed on fear and panic,” he says, “and cardboard generally doesn’t exhibit any of those emotions.” He adds that more research, along with more big ticket federally funded grants, will be required to reach any definite conclusion.

Im 65 now so I could sit around and do nothing but screw that... We just spent 3 days walking in the woods 3 or 4 hrs everyday. Im tired and legs hurt but i never felt better. Find something you like to do outside and do it. Its EZ to say its too hot or cold or it might rain. Make yourself stay busy.. Live your life like you never want to see a Dr. again

 

I'm in the same boat. Prerunner with 109K that I've had since 27k. I know its history, and it's fully paid off. Not to mention the sentimental value. For 7 years it's done everything I've asked it too and took me everywhere I needed to go.

 

I could do without seeing a GI Dr. for awhile that's for sure.

 

I think we all could live with that!


Anyone know why my tailgate lip is all loose even though the clips are all intact? I can't get it to catch... (is there a trick to getting it to catch?)

 

mine is like that too, it's like it was heat damaged or something, because the plastic looks like its "dented" like i can bend it down, but then it goes back to it's damaged form

Looks good! I'd get rid of the mud sticker.

 

I say keep the mud sticker and get rid of the all pro. The mud sticker kinda goes with the others since it's all white.

Or get another mud sticker and place it centered in the middle window. That would look good. (Removing the other mud sticker and the all pro of course.)
