    I figured the cord would be comparable to what would be needed to route it. My parents seem hesitant with doing it ourselves. I think we'll just get an estimate from my moms coworkers husband and if it's too much I'll report back. Thanks for the help.

    That's cool that you got cert in high school. My high school has jewelry and pottery making and the one down a ways has auto and welding wth? Oh yeah, I snicker at 10 grand, It's nothing.

    What's stopping you from using the truck until you get it fixed if you took the whole axle out?

    Might as well get a wrecked one that was rear ended. Ditch the bed and chop the frame. I've seen some really nice tube work behind the cab on one before.
