they're supposed to get the best mileage of pretty much any tire. last i looked, i think they go for more money than the same sized bfg a/t, which are already stupid expensive.

Yes that's what it says more or less. I think with a wider tire the contact patch is the same area it's just wider and less long.

Tons of good mods and ideas and they are realistic for me and my truck doesn't feel so wimpy there compared to rst and pirate.

 

very true. they are all about functionality. and expo rigs tend to be closer to stock in apearance, relative to the custom crawling builds on pirate. more our style...and price range

edit: rst is just insane....i go there look at things i'll never have. at least pirate is plausible

yes the narrower the tire the more lets say psi there is and if you go wider the psi gets lower because your putting it over more area and it desperces the weight. same thing as if you stand on a table then stand on a nail. the nail will go in your foot because you havw more weight in a certain area. hope this makes sence

Can you go look at the tire and tell me if it's 10 ply? If they are you're looking at a set of damn near $1000 set of tires, well when they were new.

I think the ground pressure is the same between the two it's just the shape of it that changes.

Believe me, I'm far from knowing everything but do you know how I got most of my Taco knowledge?
