I know. I actually would really love to get my hands on one of those teardrop trailers for me and Kyle to use when camping. They have some that are pretty cool and look great with a few off road style additions.

 

If the frame is tough enough, just pick up a teardrop and toss a 3.5k axle under it with some good leaf springs and big tars

 

Hey all, been around here a while watching and learning. Have a question seeing as we now have a lot of talking going on about tires. I have a 13 DCLB 4x4 with the SR5 package. I have 16" rims on it that came with the truck. I want to throw some more aggressive tires on the rims but keep the factory rims. I have a lease on the truck so I'm not trying to change too much but I want a better look and some better traction for when I do head off road. Most of my off road has been up around the Inverness area in the trails right now (no winch or anything and don't want to get stuck out by myself lol). Any ideas on what size will fit the stock rims and would give a more agressive look and better traction would be appreciated.

Sorry got a call while I was typing and thought about what I wanted to say but forgot to type it . So I updated. Was wondering what size will fit the 16's and look more aggressive and give better traction. Don't want to worry about rubbing or anything.

 

Budget, do you plan on lifting?

get a MT. that's all you're going to fig withouth doing things that you typically don't want to do to a lease.

 

No lift it's a lease so I don't want to mess around with it.

 

Have to check some out and see what I can find the stock tires are just not very aggressive looking and I'm worried about getting stuck.

 

Stock would be 265/70 or 245/75.

 

UFFF...!!! Tell me more about the 70 series. I have a soft spot for Land
Cruisers. If the 200 series wasn't so expensive I'd buy one..!!!

The Kuhmos wander and when they start to wear the cup and feather pretty bad.

 

and when the are worn they sound like a bogger and feel like your driving on marbles when your going slow

 

Now that you mention it, they did seem to wander a bit more than my Trxus tires did. I just assumed it was because they were on wider wheels with a slightly wider footprint coupled with the F250 needing a new steering isolator. Only had 200 miles on them so I really didn't notice any cupping or feathering, but my Trxus tires feathered pretty good on the front from turning a 7500 lb truck with a soft-compound tire.
