yeah i know, i found a piece of scrap in school that looked like a machete and then i figured if i cut the radius out of the top it would look pretty cool and then before i knew it i had a pirate sword. oh well, its sharp as shit and looks cool.

now to figure out how to tell a cop i have it...

So far so good. But i haven't had a need to really get on it since mounting them. But they ride nice and.quiet and i still seem to have plenty of power if i need it. Doesn't feel sluggish by any means.

 

Do you still have thdm laying around?

First the flares next thing you know SAS swap.

 

Never mind. I realized I rub my front fender to much as it is right now.

 

Sas with no front drive shaft, I don't understand why someone would do that.

 

Dunno. It sounds easy enough to swap the transmission for a 4WD model and hang an FJ t-case on it. Just a matter of throwing $$$ at it. For that matter, as long as you didn't care about your speedo reading true in low range, the driveshafts in these things are long enough that you could just hang a divorced t-case behind the transmission and be fine (probably have a better angle on the front driveshaft than a regular t-case as well).

 

after this week/end and getting my spindles installed, I think ive made my mind up what route I wanna go with my truck, gonna go ahead and do the 4x4 conversion once im done with my job training.

Before I lowered my coilovers with the maxtracs on, I had damn near 7" of lift in the front, drove around with it for a day or so.....I didnt like it at all, I seriously thought id love the bro lean like that...turns out I was wrong about that lol. Never thought id not like having more than 3" of lift, im more content with 3"

Looks good man I gotta say. Let Eric and I know when you do the 4wd swap we became experts at repeatedly assembling and disassembling ifs diffs/cvs this weekend like you have no idea. Lol jk I don't wanna see another ifs diff ever again

 

thanks man! def will do man, seriously lookin forward to it. I was on and off about it for awhile, then seeing the spindles on kinda made my mind up what I wanted to do lol. next on my list while im still in my job training is front bumper/winch and the Detroit locker

 

Anyone doing anything in the orlando area tomorrow? I realized I can't stand my girlfriend and I would rather be around anything else for the remainder of my weekend

Yea I'm avoiding looking under there right now. I ordered new breathers doin can take out that damn bracket and redo the breathers in a way that makes sense.
