Only 11% with 35s? Mine is like 17% going from 225s to 33s. Or did you have stuff recalibrated for the 33s?

 

8% for 285's 12% for 315's.

 

I used the tire size calculator ob this site and it said 11.1. Probably not much different going to 12 though.

we start with a 265 stock, not 225. that's why we have lower correction factors.

 

Ah, okay. I was thinking about it wrong. I guess the bigger the tire you start with the smaller the percentage of circ change for the same diameter change. I.E.: going from a 28 to a 33 is a circ change of 17% where as going from a 35 to a 40 is a circ change of only 14% even though it's a 5 inch difference in diameter for both.

ok explain to me real quick what % you are multiplying by( the circumference difference?) times what? I need to make sure I have been calculating mine correctly or I could be way off and lower than I thought lol.

 

When I get say, 270 miles per tank I multiply that by .12 then divide the number of gallons used.

 

whatever your % difference is, get's multiplied by the odometer reading. so if you have a 10% difference, and wend 250 miles on a tank, you would multiply 250 by 1.10.

250 * 1.10 = 275 actual miles. then just devide by how much gas you put in the tank and you have your corrected MPG

Gears don't effect auto trans.

 

If they are 37/13.5/17 looks like 18% according to the tire calculator. Seems to be in line with the average numbers.
