    unbolt the rear drive shaft, unstake the nut and take it off, take the old seal off grease/lube the new seal and put the new one in, put the nut back on and tighten it to what it was and restake it and that's pretty much it from what I understand from it

    hmmmm not what I was thinking. I pictured you having to open the pumpkin up or something but I have no idea since I have never looked into it.

    you might want to buy a new nut. when you unstake the old you one you might damage the treads. did it on my tcase and had to wait 3 days for toyota to get me my new $4 nut.

    When I did mine we got a new nut and it was necessary in the end. Make sure you get a nut.

    good news yay, got the seal and nut ordered from toyota and it'll be here tomorrow. So now I've pretty much got everything to get that fixed

    That's an easy fix. Just remove the headlight from the truck. Take out the head light bulb and use tin snips to break up the yellow reflector till you can get it out thru the headlight bulb hole
