i tried every bolt i had and nothing fit. i didnt have one of those rear skids though. i only had the front one. if you have the rear section just reuse the hardware.

 

are you refering to the axel?

edit: no rear section. i ordered the ifs skid because of all of the bends. i'm going to try to make the rest of my skids since they require fewer bends

 

yeah after i did the leaf pack i noticed that the whole axle is shifted to the right and i can see my right tire sticks out of the wheel well about a 1/4 more than the left.

check the centering pins. sheck for tightness, wheter or not they are both in the hole on the spring perch, and also for if you have a bent/broken one. when i put on my u-bolt flip kit i found one of my centering pins bent at a 90* angle at the head. don't know when it happened, but i'm sure it was throwing off my axel angle or centering from side to side

 

yeah i am going to check it all out tomorrow. Is there a difference between the left and the right or does it matter?

 

if you're using an AAL, no. there is a front and back though. but for leaf packs, i think it depends on the manufacturer as to whether or not there is a left and right.

 

i am fairly certain there is still a front/back difference on the leafpacks. didn't you install them before the alignment?

 

i know the front/back is correct but i dont know if its a L/R?? Its an All Pro 3" pack

 

If there were a difference it would be in arch to compensate for the extra weight blah blah blah. It wouldn't push the axle to one side.

 

yeah left and right shouldn't matter

 

make a plumb bob(sp?) and see if it's the axle or the bed like Chris said.

we are trying to figure out why ryans rear axle is sticking out further on one side

 

or if his bed shifted

 

well it would be the axle if it wasnt like that before correct? or just maybe in my case i had bought 4 rims one had a different backspacing than the rest that will do it

 

does his bed look like it shifted? this should be easy to see from the rear of the truck(if you line it up with the cab on each side)

 

I'm thinking he didn't notice before he changed out the rear suspension and upon admiring his ass end he discovered something isn't centered.

I never looked when I saw it. He didn't mention it when he dropped off the sway bar.

 

check the rims because i got one that was mispackaged in the right box.
