so with my size its about 18.8% increase then from what I originally had. going from 265s to 315s is 50 then / by 265 is 18.879 or 18.88 rounded up

 

well....I have 2" wheel spacers lol, so my 2nd set is what would be going on in the rear, the front at that point is only gonna be out by 0.75"

 

You need to do it based on 265's even if your truck came with 245's.

 

Well try them on and see how you like it, that's all that matters. You have a badass camera so post up some pics when you do.

 

Mine with 1.25" spacers in the rear only.

 

ya thats what I was doing, taking that number from the 265s and thats where I got 18.88% from

Need to recheck your calcs, should be right around 10% difference.

 

I was going off of what frank posted, 315-265 = 50, 50/265 = 18.88%....im assuming in not doing something right

 

you're comparing width.

 

I think a stock tire stock is not dead on,it's slower than what it reads. I had 32.5's and they were pretty close to dead on. Now I have 35's(about 34.5 actual) and they are about 10%over. I go by those police speed things and 32mph speedo and the police thing reads 37mph. Anyway my point is stock is not 1:1 what it shows on the speedo.

 

10% is close enough to the 9.3% of the stock difference.

I dont have a legit GPS anymore, the one I had died on me and I havent gotten a new one yet lol and the speedo apps ive tried on my phone are worthless as they for some reason start at 19 mph and just dont work

lol no, I wasnt talking about MPGs I was talking about the speedo difference and how many miles my truck is actually going

 

Well true distance & mpg's kinda go together.

 

The speedo will be more off the faster you go. On 33's I'm a couple mph low at 20-25 but at 50-60 I'm at least 5 or more off. I try to keep it at the speed limit.

For 35's you probably need to be a few mph under the speed limit at highway speeds.

There was a Hypertech calibrator on craigslist for cheap. might still be there. I have the same one but never installed it.
