I've had two Co workers lose a parent. A lady lost her dad the day before Thanksgiving. Shit had been crazy here at work.

My '12 does it also with regular gas, if I fill it with premium it doesn't do it.

 

Well the 80 officially has no brakes as of today lol, went to put the front end back together since corvias didn't like me having the truck on jackstands and went to put the passenger side caliper back on and it just started leaking fluid. Found a nice crack in one of the bends in the hardline, tried compressing the piston and just got brake fluid spurting out lol, so no brakes right now. Ordered a new set of hardlines from lowrange offroad to replace them. Gonna be a lot of work these next few weeks getting the truck fixed up as I'm not gonna be able to do it in my carport anymore.

 

I like the free TSB better, screw paying premium prices on gas

 

Yeah I agree but thats what the dealer suggested when I took it in for the knock. I didn't have a copy of the tsb but I do now.
Half the time I don't worry about it & just put regular in it.

 

Thanks bud but an fj transmission won't do me any good you forget I'm 4cyl and manual which id like to stay that way but it would be cool if I could get a 6speed to bolt up but I doubt that is even a possibility

 

@TAZ2014Taco Having the reflash done should be under power train warranty,8/80 I think. Just tell them it pings and take a copy of the TSB,or go see @Scooter WCT . I need to get mine done too.

 

Going on Monday they said it's covered for 80k

TSBs can be done without warranty

 

I work for Honda,they play stupid unless you call corporate and then it's goodwill warranty. Unless you have a connection or get somebody that's "cool". lol

 

I took my truck in back in June and it cleared it right up. Yup TSB ! its for '12 - '14's

 

Haha when I did it I just brought in the print out and they did it when it went back for the oil change

man....I knew I shouldnt have bought those dorman wheel studs....ive always had issues with dorman replacements. too small and too short for the hubs on the 80....cant return the fronts since I technically "installed" them. But I think I can return the rears since I didnt do anything to them. so pretty much $40 down the drain since Rock Auto was wrong again on the wheel studs for the 80. Oh...and to top it off today lol, I removed the rotor and hub just to double check with the studs....and the caliper hard line snapped off haha. at least I have new hardlines coming in lol
