Lol for a little while we will have our toys, she's 25 I'm 23 and she wants them at 28 or so so we have some time. Kids are fun though and kind of your legacy you pass on to the world.

 

I told my bro as I tell everyone, it's just because we have the extra cash now we have the stuff but I'd be fine without the truck and all of that. If she said lets have kids tomorrow I'd be game lol material stuff is just that

Maybe you should be looking at houses too while the interest rates are low since you have a lil one on the way.

def a good idea but we might not be in the area after mid 2017, so shortly after that

 

Only one we had with blue screen we ended up changing the cable through the truck. We had a doner truck and swapped what we could. Changed it and it resolved the issue. That's all i got for you....

Me too. I have good luck saving people lots of money from other place with just a new key. It's a cheap test.

 

i was able to sit in the car today, the key does turn to the ACC, if this spare doesn't work, can I pull the cylinder, and take it o a locksmith and have them adjust the pins? or can i replace it with an aftermarket one, and just hold the old key close to the hole to trick the transponder? or does everything need to be switched and reprogrammed

if I never mentioned, it's a 1998 avalon, thanks so much!

 

Oh dam..
Some of the cars back then could only have the ecu replaced if you had lost keys or added the max allowed. Once the ecu was "full" you could not add or delete and reprogram. So a ecu had to be installed along with a new set of keys. Really sucks. I have no way of knowing unless I review the files on the computer. Holding the keys like you said has worked occasionally. You may need to do a chip swap or do another "trick"

 

I may try that. I was really wishing I had a full size when I found out how little room was in the back.
