Are they 10 plies?

 

what grease...i asked auto zone n they gave me white lithium but that shit is messy n it shows up white everywhere...i hosed the shit off...i think i need new friction pads...i used a pressure washer on the leafs after the meet n now they sqeak...some chick on here took hers to toyota n they replaced them with rubbers

285/70's? That's not huge.

 

They come in 6/8/10 plies.

40x15.50x22's with Alcoa semi wheels. One wheel/tire assembly probably weighs about 250 lbs.

Had to do a rotation on it.

 

In stock maybe. They are several warehouses that have them around Tampa and Orlando at the moment.

 

Just get the stuff in a tube at home depot. It's meant to go in a grease gun.

If the squeak is in the bushings this won't help. After the meet in Orland I developed a squeak in my bushings and haven't fully resolved it yet. I've had some luck with soaking them with pb blaster. Like Tim, I've kind of given up as they will just do it again next time.

 

What's on the roof and who can't rotate their own tires? Maybe it's a different story when they weigh that much but you just have to roll them if you jack the truck at the ideal height right?

Mine have been squeaking since the first day I got the truck and took it off road over a year ago.

Tho the bicycle tire tube idea between the leafs was an interesting idea.

 

Satelite TV.

We get like 20+ rotations today. Old people and women. It's only like $20 bucks. I mounted those tires a few months ago and have been praying not to see that truck again and today he pulled up and we were busy as shit.

 

Thats a satelite on the roof and I would rather shoot myself than undo 10 lug nuts per tire and pull those heavy mofos off and put them back on

 

Then how were they in stock. I hope they didn't get one over on you saying they were the only ones in the state to get you to pay more.

 

On a half inch air gun with a 1 5/16's socket that weighs like 25 pounds at that.
