    Of course. I'm a pretty big believer in the regulations on fishing as far as slot sizes and what not. Some day I'd like there to be some fish for me to help my grandkids catch.

    Thanks. She fought me for 20 minutes. The whole time I was like 'come on, I'm not gonna eat you. I just want a picture!' We held her in the water for a few minutes and moved her around a bit to make sure she'd be alright to swim off. Didn't swallow the hook or anything, I was happy for a clean catch and release.

    Back in 04 we had a devastating Red-tide off the west central coast and at the time I was working at Ft Desoto on the mouth of Tampa Bay. We had a bad Fish Kill. I must of buried over a hundred breader Reds and everything from bait fish to eels! It was brutal. I remember saying to myself, what a waist!

    Yep I was in bradenton. The amount of snook I saw dead was crazy. It took almost 3 years to get back to some normalcy.

    Yeah it was Nasty. We had campers complaining that paid good money about the dead fish at there camp site. So we were on the shoreline in the campground wading in with pitchforks scooping the Death out of the mangroves, and placing them on shore. Then grabbing them with a bobcat and loading them in a dump truck . This went on for Days. I put Vicks in my nostrils! Lol!!

    As far as I remember, it was just a bad algae bloom. Someone mentioned at the time that some kind of nasty spooge was discharged out into Tampa Bay, and worked its way into the Gulf. It also killed sponges like 40 miles off of Tarpon Springs.
