Why don't you want to have the fall camp and ride in Citrus?

 

It's getting old lol

 

I'd be down for a mid summer Citrus Meet

What Frank said. Citrus is getting a bit stale, so keeping it in reserve for the Annual meets will help keep it about as fresh as could be expected.

In addition to that, I was kind of envisioning the Fall Camp & Ride as being a floating event where we could try out new places, or at least places we haven't been to a zillion times. Of course, apparently, Florida doesn't have a crap ton of places to hold it at, so we might have to look further afield.

 

I am all for an out of state trip, but not North Georgia. Might as well drive the extra hour or so to Windrock in Tennessee.

 

Choccolocco in Alabama is only about 9 hours away as well

 

I was thinking, from what I've seen and what Brian was telling me, that NoGa would be a good low impact place to wheel as some preparation for the more intense stuff. It would also be accessible to our more...adventurous...Prerunner crew.

Meh, it's not really like I'd be able to go in the near future anyway. I'd at least need to have my regear taken care of. Until that happens I'm any trips like that would cut into my savings for that project.

 

@allenfab there is also adventure off-road park in South tenn. That you would like, 4x4 is necessary and a couple inches of lift even for the beginner trails there, that place was a blast, we only did 1 or 2 of the moderate trails and I was on my sliders thrkugh most of those , then they have advanced, and straight up rock buggy trails, the whole park is on a mountain with camping in the bottom, with a dirt track and mud holes. We built a good rep. With the owner and property manager when we went a year and a half ago, they will also work weekend group deals for us

 

I wasn't sure where in Tennessee that was, but I've heard good things about it. I am down to plan something later on in the year to either here or some other places that are similar to it. I've got a trailer now so I can drag the Tacoma anywhere I want

 

Awesome, would be nice to have you on more of these trips, it's pretty much at the bottom of tenn just east of Chattanooga, it's In south Pittsburg

ahh yes, I remember that picture thread. Well I'm in for a trip. I don't really have anything planned as of now from august till the end of the year and I am sitting on 7 weeks of paid vacation at the moment . It would probably be more ideal to go up there when it's a little cooler anyway.
