    Rgr. I thought I read somewhere that later 2nd Gens just went to a 8" rearend and dropped the 8.4 entirely. If my 3rd will fit into it, I might have some interest in the housing and axles when you swap it out.

    I also have an 8.4 rear end along with a mech lsd that I was going to use until I got the elocker axle

    I'm not ready to move on anything any time soon. I have my crossmember and my regear to get done first, but assuming you're willing to sit on it for a while, how much would you want for just the housing and the axles (assuming my 8.4 3rd fits into it and the axle shaft splines are the same)?

    They should the only thing is my axle shafts have 5 lug patterns on the end. Everything else is the same. Honestly I was just planning on pulling the 3rd and tossing it lol.

    In that case, I'll take the housing if you are giving it away and want to bring it to the Camp & Ride. The five lug axles won't do me any good, but I can definitely use the housing. :hattip:

    @Timbo's Customs : I still might be interested in your housing and axles when you do the swap as well.

    Yours, I was thinking about putting under the OGT for a wider stance and more stability, especially when I go to 35s, but I'm still trying to figure out a solution for the front. Running wheel spacers to match the rear would mean a lot more floorboard/firewall tubbing. On the other hand, I could always hang on to it in the event I ever win the lotto and can afford to SAS, then I can get a front axle to match the rear. Kenny's, I was going to use to make an adapter for pressing axles out of wheel bearings for if/when I ever have to replace the rear wheel bearings on the T4R or the OGT if it ends up with a 2nd Gen axle under it.

    edit: also, I was thinking that the wider 2nd Gen axle might let me run air bumps on the OB sides of the frame, which would be a bit more comfortable when I end up slamming the bumps.

    Them poor harbor freight castors. Axle does not touch the ground. Looks like it does but it don’t

    Had a little fun out at Citrus yesterday with the No Mall Crawl group. We ended up with something like 34 trucks split into two groups. I ran tailgunner for the group I was in. Most of the trucks were pretty much stock and a handful of the guys had never been off-road before, which made for quite a few recoveries. @Timbo's Customs you need to get some business cards made so that we can hand them out at these events. I know at least a few of the trucks running OEM/N-Fab side steps are going to be looking for sliders soon...

    I didn't get any pictures out there, but I did find the 35's like to grab my rear fenders. Now I know where to trim...

    I found the driver side tire was rubbing the HC bumper, but I don't think it's significant enough to warrant cutting.

    Looks like the police travel in packs on 75. Must have seen 10 people pulled over within a mile.
