    No, it drives just fine, but I don't go that far south very often, and I usually drive the T4R when I do. I usually just stick around up here in North Tampa/Carrollwood. But thanks! :thumbsup:

    I know what you are talking about and that truck is nothing compared to the OGT, IIRC it has a stinger and can usually be seen parked out front of a mechanic shop

    Just let me know when you want to take care of it. I'm dead in the water at the moment until I can source some steel. My uncle gave me the number and address for the place he usually get stuff from but it hasn't been high on my priority list. Well, that and the traction bar is my next focus and I need to make some templates to modify the Ruff Stuff axle mounts so I can move them more inboard like Todd did.

    YES, that's the one...I'm sure it's definitely not as good as the OGT. I didn't know anything about it nor gotten a very good look, just the color made me have to ask, could've been passing a neighborhood TW member and didn't know it.

    Definitely didn't want to suggest the quality made me think it was the OGT. I'll have to keep an eye out in N. Tampa and Carrollwood, I'm in that area A LOT.


    Off topic / on topic....has anyone else ever seen the Inferno 3rd Gen, sitting on like Black 20's, TRD wrapped roof rack, all black trim removed and painted gloss black, pro grill? Inferno colored TOYOTA in grill, painted the lower air dam with orange accents, etc. Never been able to get a pic, curious if it's a member on here or not.

    I'm looking for about 3' of 3"x2"x.250" channel iron for the winch mount.

    I like the Super 50 on the T4R better, but if I had it to do over, I might have gone with a 60 series. The Super 50 was about the loudness and tone I wanted on the OGT. I wanted Natty to be a little more mild than she is. She sounds good though.

    Damn, close but no cigar. I think all I got around is possibly some 4" x 1-5/8" channel. Sorry, we don't do too much channel, figured I'd check if we had any drops lying around any place.

    Lee, are you running the 4Runner without swaybars?

    I’m asking because I’m only running my rear sway bar and it feels no different than if I had the front installed.

    I deleted the rear sway bar when I lifted it and put the front one back on with 4th gen rear end links after the annual meet. It was a little wallowy without any sway bars, but not bad enough that I couldn't live with it if I planned to have it off road more often. Since she's a pavement princess though...

    Anyway, have you tried it with no sway bars? If you feel the need to have one, the front one is the better choice to me because it lets the rear four-link really articulate to its potential, while the front IFS doesn't articulate for shit anyhow. Also if the 5th gens are like the 3rds, the rear bar is thin and probably more likely to snap under articulation. That's my two cents.

    Okay. That’s what I thought. When my ADS stuff shows up, I’m going to pull the rear and see how I like it. I got 650# coils on the coilovers so I’m going to see how it goes.

    I've removed front and rear on mine since I put in the LT rear coils. There's some extra body roll but its no different than my tacoma was. The articulation is awesome though, I need offset rear links so I can get even more droop.

    Rainbow did the exhaust on my T4R. Just be there before they open unless you want to leave the truck with them. They operate first come first served.

    If you are closer to Tampa, I would also recommend Mad Hatter Mufflers on Waters Ave. They just did the exhaust on the OGT and while I'm not thrilled with the way the OGT sounds, that's on me not them since I made the muffler choice. I think they did a better job welding than Rainbow as well. Either one though is a good choice. Depends on the one you're closest to. Same proviso applies though. Be there before they open to get fast service.
