Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
DD-214 with evidence of marksman or better weapons qualifier noted on it will waive the need for the class.

Going through some of my father's things I saved, found a brand new swr meter in the box, with instructions. Going to test it tomorrow. 20191015_230840.jpg

A DD-214 will satisfy the "ability to safely handle a firearm" portion, but in my experience 99% of the CCW class is walking you through the application process so it doesn't get kicked back. That was the case both times I took it in Florida and when I had to get my South Carolina permit. The only real difference was in SC we actually had to qualify at 5 and 10 yards while in Florida we only had to pick the firearm up off of the bench and send one round downrange (no target) to demonstrate safe handling.

Finally got around after months of procrastinating to installing my Addicted Offroad bumper. Had it powder coated and then had to burn in the reinforcement place. A little rusty on my welding skills but nothing a grinder couldn't fix. A lot of work left on this project, but progress is progress. Between life, home renovations, and a wedding in January, Ill take it. @Irongrave

Wow, I checked out my old build thread on Marlin Crawler but all the pictures are gone, I have some more somewhere, and can always take more but its been a super slow process over the last 10 years. Started building it in NY, then MA, then it followed me to FL.

    - 6.5" All Pro Lift
    -High Steer
    -Propane Conversion
    - Cab Swapped (Orignally rolled in '85 and sat until I got a hold of it around 2009
    -5.29 gears
    -EZ Locker Rear
    - Spooled Front
    - 37 Wrangler MTRs on recentered hummer rims (double beadlock)

    Still need to...
    Build a bed
    Driveshafts
    Double the t-case
    Odds and ends

    Finally got some goodies together.

I know the handstop setup looks weird, so I'll explain. Big handstop goes between my index and middle finger, middle and ring go between the handstops, and my pinkie hangs out at the back. This was the best configuration I could sort out with positive grip during the pumping action while still allowing access to the light (I'm a long gun lefty).

I moved the Shockwave Blade to the, ahem, Shockwave since it wouldn't work with the A5 tube I put on the AR Pistol. Speaking of...

The M4CQBR Pistol is now sporting an A5 recoil system, SBM4 brace, upgraded M951 light, and DBAL i2/PEQ-2.

I also changed my rifle and carbine to the A5 system and VLTOR iMOD stocks.

I'm a maybe. I appreciate the help finding the shifting spring in my front end, but there is another issue in my steering. It only seems to really show up with more load on the wheels than what the sand was giving that day. I am almost certain at this point it's internal to my steering box so I picked up another one today. I hope to get it drilled and tapped over the weekend, then it's just the fun of dealing with the gallon of ATF in the system to change out the box and bleed it.

Looking to get my dad a fridge for his hunting cabin. It is off the grid and he has a solar charging system and 3 large batteries. He just needs it to be able to keep a few days worth of food. Not looking to break the bank.

I remember being called a cracker back in high school. I laughed. It wasn't an insult to me. In fact, I was helping my dad build a cracker house at Adam's Ranch around the same time.

Use Google images to search for cracker house. You'll instantly recognize the style.

One of my best memories was rolling the huge rocks into place in the rain with my best friend at the time while my dad stayed in the truck. Definitely gave us some bragging rights on how "real men" work.

Thanks! The paint is drying and RTV is curing on the replacement box. I will see how lucky I am with getting it mounted and bleed on time with no issues. I found a couple interesting things in the old box so I think this will cure my issue.
