Killing time last weekend I browsed a few stores I'd never been too, most selling 50rds 9mm for $35, I remember when a box of 9 was $20 after tax, one shop in particular gave me the skevy vibe and were selling their 9mm for $65 a box

Just your standard 115gr 9mm FMJ Blazer Brass. *$65* for 50rds.

23 spline, twin stick 4.7 to 1 gear driven transfer case. That, with an adaptor will work with the R150F transmission and 3.4 v6 that will be going in my 89 4runner.

Is it a modified stock case or a divorced stand alone like an atlas?

I got my .308 ar10 middle of last year, and it looks like I got it just in time lol.

Coworker agreed to $30 a box for the .308 ammo now, so I will probably buy all 8 of his boxes. A few dollars more a box than retail but hey, it’s available so I’ll take it.

It's probably not a good investment to buy any civilian version of a military rifle newer than an M1A right now anyway, especially if you're paying more than MSRP. o_O

All this reloading talk, reminded me it wasn't for me.

I have a bunch of stuff that I would like to sell all in one lot. 800 or 900 rounds of 5.56 once fired brass, not exactly sure how many because I converted some to 300blk. A bunch of 300blk converted brass, 50 converted and primed. Harbor freight mini chop saw, with 300blk jig. Franklin arsenal digital scale. 900 cci smal rifle primers, Lee Classic press kit with 300blk dies. Brass vibrator, various lube. Most of a pound of H1100 and 1680, except for about 50 rounds I loaded and a little I burned on the ground with the kids. Box of 125 grain Sierra bullets, some 150 grain pull outs and a bunch of heavy 200 grain plus 300blk bullets.

Basically everything to load 300blk and a bunch of 5.56 brass.

$400.00 bucks for it all, everything in the pic. Well except for the treadmill it's sitting on, located in Holiday Florida. Not really willing to ship.

To all the big dog reloaders is that a fair price?

I just have a hard time relating when people say they don't like hand loading. I think it's very relaxing and the satisfaction I get out of loading ammo that out performs the best factory loads is pretty nice too. Of course, there were parts of it that were tedious that I didn't care for, but now that I built a powered 3-way case trimmer, those operations are fun, quick, and easy now.

Edit: oh and I wouldn't mind having your salad-spinner and bucket if you want to trade it for that 5' firestik I was going to give you anyway, haha. I'm planning on getting a wet tumbler for tumbling my brass after it's been annealed to get the carbon out of the inside. The dry vibratory tumbler and the ultrasonic cleaner don't do a very good job there.

It's a fair price for sure. I would buy it if I did not already have all that stuff. If you wanna split it up let me know. I'm interested in the chop saw, brass.

I totally thought I would be into it. But, I have too many hobbies and with 3 kids just don't have the time to sit alone in peace and load ammo. I could see it for a bolt action target rifle, but I like blasting some rounds. The time invested loading for just one mag was too great.

Maybe someday when the kids are out of the house.

Heh, I guess I can get that, even though I can sit down and load up a hundred rounds of ammo lickety split even with my single stage RCBS Rock Chucker 2. In fairness though, I have a lot of brass that's pre-prepped, so I just need to prime, charge, and stuff a bullet in it. The stuff fired last time will get prepped when I feel like it with the exception of the 6.5 Cm brass. I only have 2 lots of 50 pieces of it ATM and while 50 rounds is plenty to shoot in one trip to the range (I could shoot more but after 60 or so my shoulder starts to feel it, lol), I can't really let it sit idle for long unless I want to combine prepping with loading. Wet tumbling will only complicate that since you have to wait for it to dry, but since I plan on doing it in conjunction with annealing, the brass will be wet anyway from quenching.

Anyway, yeah, I can see how it could be a PITA if you keep getting interrupted. That would drive me nuts. I just get into the zone and crank out the ammo so being broken out of the zone repeatedly would not be fun and probably cause some misfire issues, haha. I've only ever had one ammo related misfire and that was back when I was 19 and loaded up a batch of .45 ACP on my old man's Dillon progressive press. One round I forgot to throw a powder charge. That's why I'm not a fan of progressives. Too much crap going on at once, so there's a greater margin for error.
