I am doing well. Left toyota back in 2014 for 2.5 years, but been back ever since January 2017. Had to log in here yesterday for the first time in over 5 years cause I'm installing some cam gears for someone in my driveway today. Wanted to read through the instructions but could only do that if I was logged in. Figured I'd stop by here to say hi.

I rejoined Florida tacomas on fb cause the John's (lol) tagged me to do this engine work. But I stay quiet for the most part. I have a 01 4runner now. Got it in June. Been slowly fixing it up.

Appreciate it, surprised they would carry them, that's about the going rate these days but still about a grand over "MSRP". Really should gave picked one up when they were "overpriced" at $2600.

Like I said, it's a bad investment right now anyway. Even if I had the money, I'd be afraid to even buy a chassis stock for my 6.5 CM because it would probably fit the criteria of an "assault weapon" even though the rifle is bolt action.

Just in case no one saw this in the Firearm BS thread, I made a few updates to my Century C308. One of the biggest complaints about the CETME/G3 platform is the stock. It's fine for irons, but with an optic the best you can get is a chin-weld. It also has a LOP a couple of inches longer than an A2 stock on an AR. Not bad when prone, but it forced a bladed stance when standing. Add a plate carrier and forget about it. I found that Spuhr had developed a stock to modernize the G3s in use by the Swedish military that allows for a cheekweld with an optic and a reduced LOP. I also added a paddle mag release, and a match trigger pack in a NOS trigger housing with a Magpul ambi-selector.

Got me a new off-roading machine the other day! Long travel suspension this time!

Going to hit up Croom this Sunday if the weather somehow cuts me a break. Anyone else in the group ride? It's been a while for me, but I'm looking forward to some trails again.

I dunno what Croom is so not sure if the pictures didn't load or if the new long travel machine is a bicycle.

Croom is part of the Withalchooche forest. Not sure why the pic isn't showing up for you, but I see it in your quote. But yes, new mountain bike.

Not my video, but it will give an idea of the terrain https://youtu.be/oqQcBLydgX4.

Covid motivated me to get in shape again. In June I vowed to lose 55 pounds. I'm down 40 to 200, got 15 to go to hit my goal of 185.

All diet and no booze so far. But, my knees started feeling pretty good so I dusted of my old bike and got bit by the bug again. I bought my last bike in 1994, amazing how much they've progressed since then.

I deal with the heat pretty well and bring plenty to drink.

We actually have some amazing places to ride in Florida, if you know where to go.

Tell me about it. I want to get back into bike riding, since it’s basically the only form of exercise I enjoy, but I don’t want to kill my self. But i need to do something to keep my blood flowing. Lol.
