I put a quick 10 rounds through it Sunday before I came back home. Definitely a nice shooting gun, and not near as snappy as I was anticipating. Also has a pretty decent trigger pull from the factory. Solid purchase I believe

Will have some relocation kits in stock by the end of March. Just a heads up if anyone is looking to have one done.

I went over to Wesley Chapel Toyota and put a deposit down on a 22 TRD Off-road, quad cab, 4x4. Now the wait begins. Thanks Scott.

I guess after being a Tacoma world member for 11 years I'll officially be in the club. I'm keeping my old runner for serious Off-roading. The new truck will see dirt roads, but that's about it. Unless I get crazy and RCLT the front. Most likely it will be Bilsteins, adda leaf and pizza cutter 33's.

Run, don’t walk, run away from marlin crawler. Go read the thread on rclt.

I'm not going to cut up a new truck, the RCLT comment was in jest. The Tacoma will be a very mild lift and a slightly bigger tire. I have a solid axle swapped 1st gen 4Runner for any real off-roading.

Marlin use to be the best, I have a bunch of their parts on my Runner. I'll have to check out the thread.

Perhaps back in the day they were good when the original guy was running the show. Now that his son is running things there seems to be problems. RCLT is a good product, its the company behind it that's the problem. It's a shame he's handled rclt the way he has because I actually like it and want it but after seeing all the BS on that thread, there's no way I'm giving them that much money.

I was following the Steel City 4Runner when he first started his build for the KOH years ago. When he installed the rclt on that truck as basically the 2nd prototype after Mike's Taco, I was hooked. Once he dropped his thread on here, I was almost ready to get in line. Then he disappeared, the months of waiting and doubt ensued, and the shit show began. I never really had that kind of money, and CC accounts are a dangerous thing. Really thankful I waited......

I went camping in Ocala last weekend and today, a week later, I had the pleasure of having a Florida woods cockroach crawl onto my hand when I grabbed my seatbelt. Luckily I was parked and could fling the roach out. It would have been much worse if it happened while on the turnpike.

Are there any thru-holes in the 3rd gen double cab that should be plugged? I'd rather not repeat the experience.

Got the drivers side bushing removed and installed the offset bushing on the LC 200 rack the other day. Did a test fit in the 4Runner this evening. So far it looks like it'll work. Front diff will be ready this week.

Finished painting the truck with monstaliner. Ran out of paint so no sparkle clear coat yet. It's nice to have all the parts the same color again.

That looks like an old Desert Dynamics winch. If it is where did you find that relic?
