    i didn't mean that they are bad in the sand. they work great. however, ATs of the same size seem to dig holes a little slower. in sand you're more focused on float than traction, that is until you go to paddles :D. the difference is still very small though, and i'd switch my TGs out for KM2s without hesitation.

    oh i agree but with 4x4 digging isn't really an issue.....i honestly try to get stuck in sugar sand(probably not the best thing to do for the guys behind me)and as long as i'm in 4x4 i'm yet to do it....i also had terra grapplers on my 07 they did equally well in the sand. i honestly cant tell the difference...

    this is true, 4x4 makes it real hard to get a truck as light as ours stuck in sand.

    i like to drive as much as i can in 2wd, and then save 4x4 for if i do get stuck. not really an issue in our big groups, but it's a great safety measure if you ever go wheeling alone. i also use that strategy when i drive in the snow up north.

    take it out of 4x4 then try. im always out of 4x4 anyways i have yet to engage and test it on my truck

    that's what i'm saying. i think i've only needed 4x4 once down here to prevent getting stuck. but i didn't even try to reverse, so who knows, might have made it out that way without 4x4
