I'm definitely going to need some help with the AAL and spacers so if any one is free in the next few weeks, let me know. I have an event this wkend and I'll be in N. GA but after that I want to get my lift in ASAP. Thanks.

How does 8:30 or 9 sound? Do you have new u-bolts or will the stock ones work? Now that I'm looking into it that spacer is a preload spacer not a top plate spacer like I thought it was. Are you willing to have pepboys assemble the front shock? I don't have a spring compressor.

"I’m moving to California to attend USC Graduate School for the Fall 2011 term, and must sell my 04’ Yamaha Zuma before I go. The scooter has had a total of two owners, a UF graduate student and me (also a former UF BCN Grad). I have owned this scooter since May 08’, and have used it to commute to UF daily. I have never broken down or had mechanical problems with it at all. I paid $1,850, and you get what you pay for; just ask an owner of a “no name, Chinese off-brand”. Even if you don’t buy mine, don’t waste your time or money with an off-brand, you can’t order parts from the dealer when it breaks-down (and it will quickly) or sell it when you need to.

In Jan. 11’, I replaced the tires with Michelin Boppers (the best tires on the market), installed rear-end breaks, and replaced the drive belt; the transmission oil was also changed and the breaks bleed and topped off. No mechanical tampering or aftermarket parts have been installed onto the motor, I bought a Yamaha for the reliability and didn’t want to comprise it what so ever. I have modified the rear tail lights to be integrated into the body using genuine Yamaha parts. On campus, they get broken and smashed by others trying to squeeze into the tight parking spots. The body has had all graphical stickers removed. Due to parking on campus since 04’, the scooter has some minor scratches on the fenders (it’s a 2004 model and a few are considered okay).

I’m also including with the scooter: (2) Helmets (Silver, matching the scooter) = (1) full-faced & (1) Bowl-fit, (1) Kryptonite Flex-Lock, and (1) Rear-End storage bin.
The price is $1,300.

Delivery is possible upon negotiation of terms, such as distance, date, and fuel cost.

Anyone interested in biodiesel? As in the producting and what not? Im seeing these old mercedes going for cheap on craigs list. And the more I hear the more its sparking interest!

 

SO according to toyota my truck weighs 4,190lbs, at the dump yesterday I had to get it weighed before and after and with a full tank and me in it it came in at 5,100 lbs I dont even have skids or bumpers...

 

Its prolly the added D rings in the bed.

i think that's dry weight. between you, a full tank, toolbox (presumably full of stuff), and other little things like heavier tires, it's pretty easy to add 810 lbs. imagine if you added skids, sliders, and bumpers

 

yeah my toolbox is very full, and I have stuff in the back seat storage as well.

 

I was but I'll give him a break(or should I say brake?) because he had been behind on sleep.

and that's being generous. No really I get 16 pretty consistently around town and much of that is with the trailer which is ~2000lbs loaded up.
