Colin, no way! Maybe that's a good sign. Haha. One of my buddies had an 86 Yamaha FJ1200 and he said he played hell trying to get OEM replacement parts for it. Said the tire size wasn't carried anymore and it was a nightmare to work on. I'm moderately quick when it comes to learning ab mechanical issues so I'm thinking about getting it. I'm going to keep looking though. Maybe a newer ninja or night hawk first.

    I had fun too.
On my way back home I tried to stop at one of those windshield washer things at the service plaza and it didn't work too well so the guy at the gas station offered to hose down the windows and mirrors. He was laughing at how dirty I had the truck.

I only got like two pictures while we were there but I'll go out and see how much he washed off yesterday.

    Yea it was.
Did discover a little damage though...
I think I fried the relay controlling the lower Hellas and the hoses under the hood came off from their holders and then another...thing...broke. Got a pic of it. Doesn't look too devastating.

    Uploading pics now...

The weird hose thing. I don't recall the smaller power wire for the hood light to be that taunt. And the relay on the right looks like one of the wires was loose and sludge got on it.

Nasty from when I had to climb back in from hooking the strap.

    It got everywhere.

From when the wheel was just spinning and throwing that mucky clay everywhere!

And I wish gas prices were this cheap down in West Palm! We're paying close to $3.85 per gallon

the plate steel was just in refference to a preveous conversation with jason about building skids. i'm starting jerry can mounts today though that will work with the 2nd gen bed rails. rough sketch is up on the overland offroad fabrications facebook page

he sold it before i was born, so he didn't have it long enough to have to worry about replacement parts, but he said it ws great. he even took it on unmaintained roads to go camping. solid bike, but the parts issue may be the killer.

i'm sure i could work a design out. i need to take a good look at an AC first though to figure out how to mount it.

Mike, how did you get those spots all over thetailgate and rear window? looks like fink just spun his tire right behind you lol

I told you it was the hardest spot to get dirty and people would notice.

Yea when I was crawling up the hills in that big clay pit in Citrus, they got a little beat up. Maybe I'll just keep them angled with the brushguard then so they don't get too banged up.

I can't do this coming weekend and the following, the 18th, is that Orlando meet.
