Question will it be cheaper to do a leaf sprung SAS, instead of converting?

 

sas will average out around 10-12k done correctly. 4x4 conversion using factory tacoma parts off of a wreck(minus the fj trasfer case) will be much cheaper.

 

Anyone know what the bolt size/thread pattern is for the all pro shock hoop holes? I'd go out and measure, but it's 102 degrees and super humid for the second day in a row....so my motivation to go out and do that right now is nonexistant.

i haven't been able to search yet, family is starting to arrive for my lil bros big day tomorrow. i don't recall the website saying but i'll check it out. i've actually had good luck with PMing sara on here. a few months back, the little frame inserts with the nut welded to it that holds on the bumper up broke, so i sent her a pm asking about them and she got back the next day

39s on dana 44s is a disaster waiting to happen, plus it looks a little shady and too diyish

yeah, just trying to avoid going to the hardware store and having to buy, go outside, test, return when it doesn't fit, and repeat till it works......i've had to do that before

if it comes down to it, i'll just tap it to something i already have bolts for.

I bet a single 9 inch hid is almost as bright as my entire roofrack....i can't imagine 4 of them

 

Way too dangerous. I'd end up group buying enough parts to build my own 2nd gen. Haha.
Speaking of buys, I'm looking into some headers now. Found some DT headers for a 1st gen for $264 (w discount) not including shipping. I'm going to keep looking though. The bogged down feeling my truck gives when I accelerate is the only thing I don't like ab the truck.
