    just found out the hard way that the hose i used for the rear diff breather isn't fireproof......now i know why i keep a fire extinguisher in the truck

    yeah everything's fine. i thought i had tucked all of the wires and hoses inside the frame out of the way, but i gues the breather hose fell out of place, and when i was welding the sliders on, it caught fire. it only burnt about 8 inches of the hose. before i got it with the extinguisher. trucks fine and i have some extra hose and some fittings to splice in a new piece.

    on the bright side, sliders are all done :)

    What are the specs on that? Gears motor ect. Thing looks nice but I would imagine its hard to spin those tires. Looks good tho.

    2.7, 5 spd, 4:10 gears, i keep up in traffic good i just cant really "root" when mudding, but 4:88 gears are to come very soon, bring it back to about stock

    I'm about to clean up my engine bay so I bought some simple green... should I dilute it like it says or just use that shit strait up?

    That stuff is potent. Dilute it. I typically dilute 1 part to 3 parts water.

    i think the worst part was firing off the extinguisher, laying under the truck, at something a foot away. made breathing difficult to say the least.

    and now i need to clean the truck because it's covered in a whight powdery film lol

    Yeah I bet! that doesn't sound too fun haha.

    Yeah we had an incident with my sister leaving some grease on the burner that started a fire on our porch and that fire extinguisher stuff gets on everything and doesn't come off! We still have a white film covering most of the floor haha
