    Thats exactly what happened to me :rolleyes: my dakota's motor was knocking and some other issues :cool: so I traded it in. I love my tacoma but it sucks not being able to buy the lift and tires ect. If I can refinance I will be ok but if not I might try to sell and get a 1st gen or a 4runner.

    some crappy dealer installed lift , 285's, trail pin striping, and a grill full of lights.
    At least these trucks hold their value well and you won't lose much, if anything, if you do decide to sell it.

    that's after i tried tpo bend it back




    I'm taking it to firestone after work to have it realigned as a temporary solution to it pulling to the left a bit. then hopefully this weekend i'll have tim to do some real work.

    i talked to a couple of the LT guys because i figure they are the ones bending parts like this most frequently.

    so after that, the plan is to take the lower arms off of both sides, heat uo the bend part with the torch and bend it back as best as i can. and then while they're off, i'm going to gusset the mounts, and reinforce the alignment tabs. and while i'm at it, i think i'm going to make some limit strap mounts and weld those on, as well as reinforce the lower arms. for reinforcement, i'm essentially thinking a skid plate type deal for the leading edge of the arms.
