i hate springs.... i had my stock springs and shocks sitting in my bedroom for the longest time. did the math one day, and figured if the top plate broke loose, if the spring were to shoot acros the room, it would hit my bed somewhere in the neighborhood of 65mph......i shortly after put them in the garage.

What's the spline count for the 1st gens?
I was looking at lockers on 4WP and found some E-Lockers but they didn't seem compatible for my truck. I ultimatly wanted an ARB one but they are way expensive but I would like to be able to activate it when I need it.

So would it be best to search junk yards to find a taco with a factory E-Locker and snag that or just go with a detroit locker or something like this?

well i dont have any tools thats the reason i would take it some place. the mwr at the base is only open on the weekdays so i wouldnt be able tou use their lift.

and it would be cool if you would help me, but im still waiting for my AAL and light racing UCAs. i want to just put it all in at once. i talked emailed the guys at S and M truck world and they quoted me $60 to $80 an hr. so i guess ill just have to wait and hear back from the guys at twisted metal.

if yall want to wait three weeks, i'll help out at one. i've done all ofthose before^^^ along with some of the others on here. you'll have to do the black headlight on your own though, because you want to let them dry at least overnight if not longer. before putting them back together.

The offer stands. We have allot of tools combined between me and my boy and allot of mechanical ability with my buddy jason my brother and the group I hang with. If you want I will contact them now and we can do this friday. It would be a waste putting the billies on without the uca's cause you would need another alignment.
