    pollyurethane bushings.

it's a tradeoff though. the drastic motion will decrease, but more vibration from the engine will be transferred to the frame, to the body, and finally, and ecentually to you.

we'll try to put the go pro under there though. the transmission and transfer case crossmembers are pretty beeft, but it's still possible (unlikely) that they are what is flexing. in which case a couple stiffening beams will fix you right up

My rear end perplexes me.. (thats what she said lol) I have an 06 DC SR5 Prerunner and to this day I have always thought that it had an open rear end because well that is what I have always heard since its not a TRD model... However at the beach today, I was messin' around and it spun both wheels? WTF!? When I do U-Turns and gas it, I get peg leg. again... WTF???

were you buried in the sand? if you were you could have had an equal force on both tires thus spinning both

the only thing I could think of is the sand offers less amount of traction vs comparing it to asphalt, thus allowing you to spin both tires.

I wish! I hear that stuff makes for a helluva ride.. :goingcrazy:

Im pretty sure I do but from what I have read, the first few years of the 2nd gens are a clutch pack, mechanical LSD. (if equipped) my trucks got 117k and I know for a fact my buddy I bought it from didnt service the rear diff. Its on my list of things to do. but makes me wonder if the clutches are worn out. when I kick a U turn or turn right on a wet road, it only spins the RR...

Those things are sick in the mud! I've seen a couple of them and they run circles around anything else, between the super short wheelbase and how light they are

That sounds like a badass jeep! I'd like to see pictures of that thing!

They'd make some great flounder gigging lights, just probably a lot more expensive than they need to be haha. They do make underwater lights for jon boats though for flounder gigging/fishing at night. Not sunk in the hull or near as cool as those but they do serve the same purpose for a lot less money.

Yeah that's what we use for gigging. The insects love it and yes it does suck haha

Yeah idk how it got there but don't really care lol. I am interested on how the previous owner did it. But then again it usually goes unnoticed so fuck it. My rear bumper it messed up to from backing into a honda  whoopsie but you can barley tell.

you don't need equal traction to spin both tires. and they weren't necesarily spinning at the same speed. doesn't realy help determine what you have in the rear, just saing that you can spin both with an open rear

speaking of LSD. actually not related at all......... you coming to the ocala meet?

it sure wasn't pretty to look at, but in the right hands, it'd be a monster on the trails. unfortunately the owners wife who was driving it all weekend sucked. the friend i was up there with who has the pictures is coming by this weekend to have some work done, so i'll grab them from him then.

This might be a noob question, but I've been confused about this for a while. What determines whether our trucks spin one or both tires in different situations? I've noticed sometimes I spin one and sometimes two, but I can't figure out when and why?

Yeah I bet! Oh well it'd be cool to see someone with some real skill driving that thing. Sounds like it has some real potential.
