I had my second flat today. This time a piece of metal was lodged in the tread. Hopefully getting fixed tomorrow.

 

Man my truck is getting horrible mpg.. I am almost on 1/4 tank and got 200 miles on my odo. I just ordered a new air filter to see if thats the fix and I will be cleaning my maf.... This sucks.

 

oh you get 200 out of 3/4 of gas? hmm thats pretty good

lol thats fucking bad! No lift, street tires and 200 and I'm almost empty! Last tank I got 280 before 3/4.

Its really starting to piss me off. I run full synthetic oil (don't think it matters) tires are good, drive like a old man, Its got to be ther air filter and maf. Its probably the original one lol.

 

Haha probably should try changing the air filter then! I run conventional oil, and my tires are good but they are 285's and mud tires, so that definitely affects it. But from looking at others gas mileage with similar setups, it's hard to believe that's the only reason. And my truck only has 6000 miles on it, so I wouldn't think it'd be the air filter or maf? Just wish I could get a little better. Even if I drive like a grandpa, im very lucky to get 16 mpg.

 

If you count the tank being a 17 gal tank (thats all I can put in when filling up) I usually get 16-18... but this tanks been horrible. Anyway afe pro dry S is on the way so I hope it helps.

 

check your throttle body it could use some cleaning too

 

is there a how to thread . Could my dumped exhaust be a reason for shitty mileage? I dont remember it being this bad stock.

 

Oh so is it just this tank that's been so bad? Could it be something wrong with the gas? (just a wild guess)

 

Maybe never had a bad tank of gas. This had by far been the worse tank. I'm trying to remember if I reset my odo or not by accident ugh needed a new air filter anyway worth it.
