One day my tranny shifts fine the next it shifts like shit. I've seen a few threads were it ended up being the axle not the tranny. Plus I'm getting the thud when I stop. Again!

Do you have one of the "super-yanker" tow ropes they have on there? And do you like it? I'm wondering how those ropes work compared to a typical nylon snatch strap. Seems to me like they probably stretch even better

Roommate said it was the capacitor.

Our house was built in the 50s or 60s, I can't recall for sure. Very little insulation so it gets hot and cold in here quick.

I wouldn't bother with 4:88 gears unless you plan on running 35's or larger..You would also have to change the carrier which all in all is big $$$.

East Coast gear can do a exchange (core) 4:56 gears for a decent price.

Yea the only thing I've used it on was a tree trunk bout 3.5 ft around that was dead and "snatched it" right out of the ground and still can't move it even after its out of the ground, just like a rubber band, say its better for the chassy

At least it was pretty minor... I do a/c and I've seen more capacitors fail this year than ever before... its weird
