hardware stores didn't have any of the threaded caps in stock for the size of steel pipe i needed, so i was forced to use pvc.

 

Looks great man, the PVC will be just fine. We have something similar, but much larger, made up with our hooker rig as an emergency air reserve if the rig shuts down. Mind you my dad built the hooker rig back in the 70's before you could just buy one.

Yup, parts on order are allpro standard leafs w/u bolt flip kit and timbrens, front ones too, ext brake lines (that will be here on monday), icon ext resi coilovers, tc uca's, icon 2.5 rear resi's, cbi rear bumper and sliders, and relentless aluminum front.

I was really thinking about it, had it all priced and everything. What the deciding factor for me was the lack of sway bar. Im a pretty fast driver and I also change lanes on the highway alot. I didn't want to spend 7k and not be able to drive how I want. When I put my truck back to stock the amount of sway it had was scary, I couldn't imagine not having the bar there, even with stiffer springs.

 

Went to the lakeland mud hole tonight... pretty sick place anyone here been?

Dude I can't wait to get all this stuff on. I've been dreaming of building this truck for so long but couldn't because I had the wrong truck.
