Orlando / Panama City Beach here. Just bought a 16 white OR DCSB 4X4. Transferred over from the 4Runner gang

 

South Tampa. Only significant mod so far is OV Tune.

 

Santa brought me some new wheels FN FX Pro in bronze) but not quite ready to replace tires so a few months away. Not much else other than adding a Homelink unit in a conspicuous location.

 

Like that you got bronze wheels. Black is so overdone.

 

Any of you Sarasota guys know of a good custom shop? I’m in Bradenton & looking into a lightbar & really don’t want to do it myself. I also have plans for a couple of other lights down the road. I’m wanting to install a Fuse block/breaker with the light bar & looking for someone to take it to that won’t charge me an arm & a leg.

Anyone know of any truck events in central Fl. I sometimes attend the Dupont cars and coffee in St Pete, wish there was something like that for trucks.

Up to a point. Broward, Dade, and Monroe counties are more like Latin America.

 

Florida is an odd mixing pot with properties straight out of Harry Potter. North Florida is in the heart of the old Confederate territory, as you move south you somehow wind up in Canada, another 20-30 miles south and you are in Cuba, Guatemala, Columbia, or even Venezuela. Geography be damned.

Miami is definitely central/south America. If you want authentic food from almost anyplace in the Caribbean or any Latina American country it can be had. You may need to know Spanish and.or have someone in your party that is fluent to find and order what you want. Damned good food.
