im thinking of going up not sure how my truck will do its not a 4x4

 

There are several Prerunners comming along so you will be just fine. We should have lots of trucks and ropes if anyone does end up getting stuck. Saturday should be fairly easy trails too. Mount up and come along it will be a good time!

 

I think the Prerunners will out number the 4X4 on this one!!! Dont worry man you will have plenty of help the whole time. come on out and have a good time.

 

Hey Happy 600th post rmb_crew!

 

What's everyone using for radios? Cb's or the little handhelds? I plan on leaving my house around 7:30. I can't see it taking longer than 2.5 hours to get there, but if for some reason it does, if everyone else is there you guys can head on in and start setting up your camps and I will find you.

 

Hopefully we're using CB's...I just bought the setup today and will be finishing the install after work tonight.

I know that rmb_crew mentioned CB's, and I was planning on getting one anyway. You have regular walkie talkies? I believe I have a few somewhere, but I'd have to dig them up.

I'm also a Prerunner, but with lift and M/T's. I was talking with a guy today who camps a lot in the area we are going and he said despite rain, there probably won't be too much mud. I have a 20' tow rope, and I have not been offroad/mudding in years, but come on out... should make for a good time!

I have a CB and will be using that for the most part. If half the group has cbs and the other has walkies im sure whoever is gonna lead will have both and just get the word out.

The rain should make some of those roads a little easier for the pre-runners to get down. Some of them can get pretty nasty when they are dry with some deep sand. And at least we don't have to worry about it being a dustbowl now.

 

Yeah we have had a lot of rain lately so it should help out. Hopefuly we dont get too much rain tomorrow.

Hey guys! Have a good one. I am stuck having to work two 12 hour shifts this weekend, but the next time a group of Jax people are going out somewhere I will have to find a way to make it.
