TacoAL, I see where you are coming from, though it is clear you've got some pent up passive aggression issues. But that's beside the point.

Those who brandish their firearms openly are not ones to be scared of - they are merely establishing a line; it's those who don't show their firearm openly you should be scared of. I, like many others like open carrying as a principle, because eroding our liberties is tyrannical; they don't hurt anyone so there is no reason to take them away. But I only rarely open carry due to excessive attention, except when with other gun people, where it's rude to not open carry.

Would you really be anymore nervous seeing a sparse population even bothering to open carry than you are walking in a parking, where morons have driver's licenses and lethal cars?!

civil rights are a trash minded mentality?? our civil rights stem from the Romanticism period of Liberal thought and the Rights of Man especially in literature from writers like Rousseau and others...we have a Republic not a Democracy where civil rights are dependent on the whims of the tyrannical majority....I argue Open Carry is legal right this moment irregardless of the statutes that Florida has passed because the Constitution is the Supreme law in Florida and also the Florida State Constitution over ride any law passed by the legislature there...

What? So in one post the Federal law is garbage and in another State law can trump it? Yet in this one you try to peace together some fragmented thoughts that aren't even your own in a weak attempt to pass off your back-wooded theory that we should walk the streets armed like a throw back to a third world country? Sorry to burst your bubble but Florida might be in the south but we are in no way part of the dirty south.

No. Sounds like you don't understand the ^&$!#%* meaning of that idiom as it pertains to the situation. Reading into it the way you wanted to rather than the way you knew it was written makes you the idiot.

As per those whose guns you can't see being more concerning, that is aimed squarely at criminals who conceal their guns are breaking laws. Not seeing a CPL holders gun is good, because that means they had no reason to pull it. Concealed firearms are fine when done by law abiding citizens. But it's those that do not abide by the law that we worry about it.

I conceal for the intrinsic value, not the instant value.

The quote "Never argue with idiots, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience" holds especially true for you "TacoAL" (hint: you are at the lowest level)

FYI, I will tear you to peaces

I support the passing of this law.
though I will probably still conceal while mixed with the general public.
its about time citizens of this great nation start to get some of our rights back.

:popcorn:FYI the day you want to have a pissing contest you can bring it. You might want to put down that Thesaurus and stop contridicting your self in every post you make. It stands to show who is attacking who and where the moronic value lies.

back at you. why shouldnt we?
what makes it a "trash minded mentality". Because its something YOU dont believe in? I bet you want to take "in god we trust" off the dollar and ban people from saying "merry christmas".
Typical Liberal arguments. You dont really have anything of value to say, you only piss on and pick apart what others say. I see this kind of crap all the time and it's always exactly the same BS.

Well this forum got ugly real fast. This isnt a pissing match. everyone has there own decision on open carry and trying to change someone mind on it is like pissing into the wind. You guys can sit here and argue about it all day and nothing is gonna change. Florida is on its way to open carry whether you like it or not. Its a personal choice to open carry or to conceal.....

What federal law is garbage please remind me what you are referring to? Also you do know Florida is referred to as the "Gunshine" state right?? everyone is already walking around with guns....i notice numerous people carrying every time I go to Jacksonville....no one is forcing you to go armed but you can not tell me i can't because you have no claim to my life...if you did i would be your slave.
