I'm looking to re-route my winch controller to my cab, so maybe we can add that to the mod list. I also want to hook up my ARB compressor.

Plenty of things it seems that we can do. I actually have rewired my winch controller to plug in inside the cab. It's actually pretty easy to do!

Good to hear. I picked up a bunch of heavy duty wire and some fasteners. Also had to get a new solenoid since mine went bad.

I'm in the middle of changing positions at my job as soon as I get transitioned to my new spot I'll have a fixed schedule which should be early to mid February. After that I'll have every other weekend off

I want to let everyone know up front that I have no problem spearheading the meet, but since I am new in the area, I really need someone who is very knowledgeable of the local trails in the Eglin AFB area to take charge of the trail ride.

OK, well there seems to be a majority of interest in the 10th of January. So we will set that as the date.

2015 Mods and Meet, Florida Panhandle Edition: Saturday, January 10th, 2015.

This will be an informal get together. Most of you I think have already met, or know each other, but since I am new, it will give me the chance to meet everyone. Bring with you any specific drinks you may want, but I will be supplying snacks, drinks, and such. There is no hard-fast rule here, but if you feel like donating, bring along $5 per person to mitigate cost. I do NOT require it, so if you don't want to, don't worry about it!

I will have it set to start around 9am. However since it IS a Saturday, it would be courteous to the neighbors to keep the heavy noise regulated to inside the house for a little while. Don't want the neighbors upset!

Bring with you any pieces and or parts that you would like to install on your truck. I would like to plan for departing for the trails at around 1pm, so that gives up plenty of time to do installs and such. I have a full tool assortment, but we aren't going to be doing major repairs. Sliders, bumpers, light bars, etc are the thought here. If you have a check engine light that has been driving you crazy, I can look at that as well.

The idea here is to meet, and have some fun with some mods that you either don't have the tools to install, or need a helping hand. I ask that everyone chip in some time here. But lets enjoy the time and have some fun!

Then it will be off to wheeling! I know there are one or two that know many of the trails here, so please, PM me and let me know! If you are 2wd, we will do our best to accommodate you on the trails. But remember the one trail ride rule if you get stuck: YOU get to hook it up! You get stuck in the mud and I will gladly feed out my winch cable, but YOU are getting into the mud to hook it up to your truck! :p

I will start with the initial attendance list. Please copy and paste, while adding your name, and how many will be with you. I'd like to get a head count.

True, and I don't know the trails down here. Most of my wheeling in Alabama was up in areas a 2wd had no chance of making it. It's been a while since I have been wheeling in Florida, and most of that was in Ocala and Osceola National Forests!

yeah that's understandable lol, but everything that ive been to/seen here in FL...my 2wd has dominated it. and of course I do get stuck from time to time but that's expected for a 2wd lol, I cant get through everything
