I'm going to go ahead and hold the greet. If you don't want to come, I can understand since we won't be wheeling, but I have lots of food, chips, and drinks that I don't want to go to waste! Hahaha. Plus we can spend more time working on mods and such!

bummer man. what about in the sand on Santa Rosa Island in the enlarged area at the bottom of the map?! Closed to hunters according to the key. http://eglinguideonline.com/range/RECMAP2015-01-09T22:08:33.pdf
Regardless, I plan on pickin up a buddy at around 8am to head that general direction. I was planning to head straight to the eglin registration office to get the permit but if we're definitely not going wheeling, we can get up a little later and head straight to Bill's in Navarre for the meet and mod greet. I will call that office tomorrow to see if we can drive around on santa rosa island, cause I think that would be nifty.

Someone mentioned welding on Rock Sliders. I was kind of looking forward to that. I also have this wiring issue with my LED light in my Scoop. it worked at one point and then i ruined everything. Hopefully with another set of brains on the situation we can figure it out pretty simply.

I may need to get a different plug for my welder, but yes, we can get your sliders welded on tomorrow if you like.

I wish I could afford sliders right now. Pretty sure someone else mentioned it earlier in the thread when it was mentioned that we might work on some modifications at this meet.

Ah, I misread. I thought YOU had sliders to install. Funny thing, I have had a set of 4xinnovation sliders for almost 6 months now, and STILL have not had the time to get them welded up and installed. Hahaha.

Well it was great meeting everyone. Been a while since I hosted anything, so I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Next event will have some extra planning so that we can do some off-roading. Perhaps Bogs and Boulders?

It was definitely fun man, thanks! Boggs and boulders was fun...but it's very limited on what our full size vehicles can do

You guys won't believe this! I just got two letters from my homeowners association. One was a complaint saying I can't park vehicles in the grass. The other was saying I can't work on vehicles in my driveway! Man I am steaming over this!

Wow. Are they normally a holes around where you are or they just strict. Ive built a trailer a s10 on dana 60s and ill have another project in the works in a year or so. Im always in my driveway building things but they still are in the process of building homes too.

ours states that you cant do major repairs and or have a vehicle on stands or blocks for 24 hrs.
