hey guys, im looking into having a shop install a flowmaster 40 series onto my 07 dclb 4wd. i measured the o.d of the exhaust just before the muffler and i get 2.250 meaning 2 1/4" but i look on the flowmaster site and they suggest 2.5" in and out, is this normal? i dont want to look like an idiot ordering the wrong size...

I have the American Thunder series on my 2011 Tacoma. Sounds great and was an easy install on my driveway.
