hey guys i got a cheap thrush welded muffler for my 05 4.0 taco. it sounds ok its got some deep tones but what i see on youtube flowmaster has a totally different awesome sound. i see on ebay the 40 series mufflers and the original 40. is there a difference?? cause the original is a lil cheaper but sound is what im after. thanks!

origional 40 is slightly louder than the slimmer super 40. streetside auto has the muffler for 75 bucks. i had mine cut out and replaced. i love it!

I like my flowmaster, sounds great at low speeds, but at highway speeds without the radio on, it has an annoying drone...
that's the only thing I don't like about it...

If your only looking for performance, get a dynomax. If your only looking for sound, get a flowmaster.
