I just had a flowmaster 50 Series with a 3" tailpipe and stainless tip put on at a local muffler shop for $350. I think that going to a local shop is probably going to be your best bet.

Yes you can. But I had a $300 Magnaflow cat back that was in my opinion garbage. Tailpipe hit the rear shackle, leaked at the muffler as well as the collector at the y-pipe, and after six months it had gotten way louder, to the point that when passing someone I could hear the echo of my exhaust off of the other car as I went by. I did pay a little more than most shops would probably charge, but the shop that did mine does exceptional work, and everything is welded in with no leaks.

why not just buy a 50 series flowmaster from autozone/advance for 89 bucks like i did and have it put in place of your stock muffler...you will get the same results...install was only 25 bucks at a local exhaust shop.

save yourself some cash and just go to a shop and get the muffler, you dont need the full cat back. I bought my flow 50 and had put on for 150.

yeah up here in canada we cannot get that done for that price. i was quoted around 350-400

so for the aproximate same price or a little more i could just buy the cat back and install on my own... but where to find the flowmaster 50 cat back single in /out
