Can anyone tell me if Fluid film is compatible with the Auto Armor ECP wax undercoating that Toyota uses to treat frames under the recall and new frames they install under the frame recall program? I had my new 2015 Undercoated with the Auto Armor 6 months ago. Tonight I sprayed fluid film all over my rear leaf springs and between them. After I was done I read the directions...Yep, ass backwards I know, and I noticed it said fluid film may soften some undercoatings and paint and to check with manufacturer? Id hate to ruin a 500.00 undercoating that seems to be doing a great job. No rust anywhere on frame. I just wanted to get some protection in the leaf springs and quite a bit over sprayed on the frame.

Obviously the manufacturer of each gives no information other than don't mix products. I was hoping someone else had some experience?

I would just try it on a small spot. Spray it on let it sit for 30 min. Then I would rub the spot with a rag and see if the undercoating comes off. I have sprayed everything under my 2013 and have seen no problems. It is not a harsh oil at all, and looks like it works well against rust.

I didn't mean to sound unappreciative. Thank you for the links. I did check with the manufacturer first.

I would not worry about it.If anything, check the area where the over spray occurred. If it did soften the coating,I would not subject it to any power washing or such. Most likely,it may re-cure on it's own.
