I would have signed up, or at least come by to hang out, since I've really enjoyed meeting and talking with all you great people at the past two events, but unfortunately I'll be out of town. Fortunately, it's because I'll be in Arizona buying a house.

My wife and I are now both fully retired and neither of us has elderly family remaining to take care of, so we're looking forward to donating all our down jackets, wool socks, and flannel-lined pants to charity, being able to go for a walk between December and April, and most of all, not having my Taco smell like a damp barn because the frame had to be sheep-dipped with Fluid-Film.

Trying to make the move before Thanksgiving - I have shoveled my last snow. We're in the process of selling two houses here. Closing on the one we don't live in this Friday and putting our actual residence on the market as soon as we have the place out there (I only want to move my shit once, so I need a place to move it into before I have to move it out of here).

Even though I wasn't as active in the New England TW community as I would have liked due to other obligations, I'll miss the annual "Hang By The Pond" with you guys. Luckily, there's a pretty big TW crowd in Arizona, so I'll have a way to meet some people out there, and maybe they'll have fun stuff going on.

If any of you ever gets out to the Phoenix area, message me here and I'll do whatever I can to make your desert visit as pleasant as possible.
