424 more miles to the Trout capital of the USA. Hate this drive, though...

Absolutely. 10.5 hours in a truck sucks, though. Lol.

The norfork has some nice fish for sure. I think the record brown for AR was there wasn't it?

when they start generating though, the water comes up FAST.

And if you haven't been there in a while, the banks and floor of the Norfork and White are different due to floods in May. Rocks, bars, etc all shifted or gone in some spots.

I actually came out here in May when they were having the floods. We couldn’t fish the Norfork because it was flowing st like 55,000 CFS. We’re definitely gonna hit it up for some striper/walleye fishing.

My buddies were on their way home from the white today. We actually met them at a gas station (small world). They caught 20-30 fish a night. Most 2-4 lbs, with the biggest being 28.5” and 10 lbs.

Southern Alberta a few weeks back. A bit snowy, the fishing was good and I got the truck dirty.

Yup! I was really actually stunned by just how awesome the little fella was!

On another note, how do y'all take your pictures when your out solo? Want to get some good shots, but quickly and keeping the fish healthy!

Video with my phone or GoPro. Then you can save a screenshot. That way you don’t have to set up the timer, then try to get the fish out of the net and get it to stop flopping around in 10 seconds.

Had a great day on the water today. Caught some good sized fish for the river I was fishing but I know there has to be a few pigs out there. Lost the biggest one but no big deal.

The snowy shot would be on the 532, but yes you can't go wrong on the 40!

Correct, forked tail with black tips (hard to see in photo), oblong bars and spots up top. First one I have caught. Hopefully he makes his way to the ocean some day soon.
