The same shit everyone else has.
Wait til you start catching big wild browns. You'll be obsessed with chasing them.

I usually just snap a buncha quick pictures on my iPhone and hope I get a good one. Unhook the fish. Leave it in the net. Pull out your phone. Lift fish. Snap pics. Let fish go. Usually takes a few seconds.

If youre worried about them being outta the water too long, hold you breath while taking pics and make sure they are back in the water before you run outta air. This will force your to work fast.

Followed. My Instagram is about 93% fly fishing/Tacoma/beer related.

Dwalden2 on there as well. Not as many fishing pics now that it’s hunting season, but will be back at it in January.

Hunting is fine by me. Wish I had got tags this year but out of state prices are a bit steep and no time to go back to wyo for elk :(. That's alright. More time for the fish.

lol! I think that would increase handling time a bit more than I'd like.

I'm trying to catch up on tying today. I'm in a fly swap that's due in a week and I'm just now starting

Does anyone else ride the struggle bus when it comes to thing small flies? My buddy gave me a few #16 stimmy's last weekend and I've been trying to replicate them with zero luck. I can tie em in size #12 like its no ones business but these #16s are killin me.

Smaller flies are easier to tie and work better the simplerer (lol I made up a word) u can make them IMO
For example with the 16 stimi I’d lose the palmered body hackle cuz too bulky looking and it might crowd the gap with relatively stiff fibers/tips
Then again I only tie simple flies lol. CDC bulk pack is your friend :)

No, I don't have the time or patience to tie flies. I buy all of mine already tied.
