    Mate, I buy machines that fascinate me because I can. If I buy that reel and don’t lose it or it gets stolen, I imagine that my 8 year old son will be be able to pass it along to my grandchild and it still be in fighting trim.

    Don’t even get me started on my Curta calculator collection.

    Also had my first solo fly fishing double up. I was throwing a chubby with a rubber leg dropped from it, with a rainbow warrior dropped from that...

    Was stripping it in and hung one on the chubby, as I was fighting it, one hit the rainbow warrior.

    Thank you. I tried it out in the yard earlier. It throws a 2/0 clouser out to 60ft with ease but after that it gets kind of difficult. I hoped it would have a little more power to cut through coastal winds but we'll see how well it does at the Outer Banks next week.

    That's a weight forward floating line. I think most use some type of heavier shooting head line for saltwater. They make various weights (in grams) and length heads.
