Guides all saying great - it was not great for
Me. Big thunderstorm and plug of
Mud and spike in flows interrupted it. As well as the dam using the spillway right during the hatch
Messing around with temps. BUT fishing with other bugs was good. Big fish year - not big numbers year.

Gorgeous fish. I’ll take quality over quantity any day!

A couple RB. Didn’t get good pics of them. Broke off several truly huge fish well over 20”. Stupid me using 4XIMG_8697.jpg IMG_8692.jpg
These fish get hit pretty hard by the parade of boats each day. Many have injuries.

Yessir! I was getting some fish on it - but the bite on the big bug was not so good so hard to say if this was a better pattern or not. Thanks for the feathers!!!

Had an eventful weekend once I found a creek that didn’t have any fishing restrictions due to heat and low water.

With some help from some good buddies of mine I’ve been working on the toughest fly I’ve done to date. The Grey Ghost.

Beautiful work! Will you fish it or for display only?? Either way, nicely done. The only salmon flies I've dabbled in tying in are ugly "bomber" style dries...

win some, lose some. Had 3 big chonky girls, 4 or 5 medium sized and over a dozen finger sized babies. I feel so bad trying to unhook the wee guys. They’re too small to play this game!
